Are there minimum age requirements to attend events?
Bushcraft & archery events are for adults and children aged 7+
Axe throwing events are for adults and children aged 11+

Children must be supervised, even if adults are not taking part. One adult to supervise up to 3 children (including children who are not participating)

Can additional people stay on-site?
We have limited facilities on-site (it is completely outdoors) and politely request that only the required adult supervisors and immediate family members stay on-site for children who are taking part.

For others doing drop offs, there’s lots of things to do in the local area.
There are plenty of shops and cafes nearby. Our top picks are McArthurGlen for shopping and restaurants, Porthcawl for a walk on the beach and fish and chips, and Cobbles Kitchen and Deli. Or you could go for a lovely walk within the Merthyr Mawr Nature Reserve and walk down to Newton Beach.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
You will need to drive to our site, it is not accessible by public transport.
There is a small grass verge where you can park for free.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, there’s no need for any printing.

Is my ticket transferrable?
You can’t transfer it to another event but you can give your ticket to someone else, as long as they fill in a consent form.

Is it OK if the name on my ticket doesn’t match the person who attends?
Yes that’s OK, as long as they fill in a consent form.

What are your terms and conditions and refund policy?
We recommend that anyone attending an event reads our terms and conditions which are available here: https://bushcraftadventures.co.uk/terms-and-conditions
