WHAT SCHOOLS DO YOU WORK WITH? IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE?
WHAT AREAS OF WALES DO YOU COVER? If you would like us to run sessions within your school grounds, we work across: Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan, RCT and Bridgend. We have sometimes travelled further afield to Newport, Monmouth and Swansea areas. Please get in touch if you would like us to travel to you. We would need to visit your school grounds to see if they’re suitable for our activities and carry out a risk assessment.
WHAT TIME OF YEAR DO YOU RUN SESSIONS FOR SCHOOLS?
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT’S RAINING OR IN BAD WEATHER? Sometimes, however, the great British weather can defeat even the hardiest bushcrafter! We will always carry on as long as it is safe to do so, but we risk-assess continually and will halt or postpone a session if we feel it is unsafe to continue. In the event of this happening, we will communicate with you at the earliest opportunity, arranging either to reschedule at your convenience or to issue a refund (please note that if your event is taking place on an external site, we may not be able to refund the any site fees). If you decide to cancel the event in poor weather after we have risk-assessed it as safe to go ahead, this will be treated as a cancellation and we will not issue a refund. Please refer to our terms and conditions, and please get in touch if you have any questions about this.
ARE SESSIONS ACCESSIBLE? We are happy to discuss your groups’ needs and how we can tailor our activities to meet them. We are also happy to speak or meet with parents before a session.
