Outdoor learning sessions

Want to take learning outdoors for your pupils aged 6+? Break out of the classroom and inspire your pupils with our curriculum-related outdoor learning sessions in South Wales.

We are experienced and passionate about outdoor learning and our work with schools in South Wales.
We believe in: adventure in learning; and learning to adventure.

Key info

  • Age 6+
  • Held at our woodland site near Bridgend or within your school grounds (Bridgend, RCT, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan)
  • We work with small groups of under 10 to larger groups of up to 60 pupils.
  • £95 half day or £175 full day for one instructor.
Large groups will require additional instructors – we can advise.
We charge for our instructor’s time and resources, rather than per child, which makes it more cost-effective for you.
  • Adult supervision required
  • We require information about medical conditions in advance of sessions
  • Instructors are DBS checked (enhanced level), we have £5 million public liability insurance and risk assess activities – copies can be provided
  • See our FAQs and terms and conditions for further info

Learning is central to all of our sessions. Pupils will learn about themselves, working with others, build confidence and more through outdoor activities. We can provide curriculum-related or themed sessions, for example focusing on a specific book or subject area including literacy or maths.

Activities include fire lighting, shelter building, whittling, archery, water purification, scavenger hunts and more.
