We’re excited after the Welsh Government’s announcement on Friday that we may soon be able to re-open to run some of our activities and events. Thanks for your enquiries and your support over the weekend, we can’t wait to welcome you back!
We wanted to give you an update about what this means and our current situation.
The announcement said that during the third week of the review they will look to see *if* organised children’s activities outdoors can restart from 27 March. We don’t have any further details at the moment on what this means; age, group size, if parent supervisors can still stay etc.
You may not realise this, but there’s just two of us behind Bushcraft Adventures. And whilst our business has been closed and we’ve been unsure when we may be able to reopen, we’ve had to make some personal decisions too. I recently accepted a six-week temporary job which has some weekend working, and Steph is currently recovering from surgery and will be out of action for a few weeks.
This means that we’ve taken the decision to take provisional bookings in April for children’s bushcraft birthday parties only (we’ve already been accepting bookings for all event formats from May onwards) and we’ll have a phased reopening so we will have very limited capacity until mid-May.
We wanted to update you and say thanks for your continued support… and we look forward to lighting fires, shooting arrows and throwing axes (and knives!) with you soon! Rachel
