On Saturday we welcomed Gandalf, Jack Sparrow and various characters from Dungeons and Dragons for a stag do to remember. It was pretty memorable for us too! 👍
The day started with lots of laughter and me giggling as the group wandered in to our woodland. I knew from the start they were going to be a fun group.
We were thrilled to be shortlisted for a Bridgend Business Forum award, for tourism business of the year. And on Friday evening we enjoyed meeting and celebrating with other local businesses in Bridgend. We also enjoyed the opportunity to get dressed-up, which was a bit of a change to our usual workwear!
Well, if Jason Mamoa and Justin Timberlake can do it… 😉
It was Back to School for me too today!
I’m excited to be working with YBC again this year, taking learning outdoors every Tuesday. Today was all about planning and I’m brimming with ideas. I’m looking forward to starting back with pupils in two week’s time!
I’ve also been taking bookings for teachers looking for a different way to kick start and introduce a new topic to inspire their pupils. And teachers looking for an alternative school trip to remember have already started planning it with us 👍
We cater for groups of less than ten to around 60. So if you’re looking for an outdoor learning session or planning your next school trip, do drop us a line! Steph 😊
We’ve been asked a couple of times recently if groups can come to their Bushcraft Adventure in fancy dress.
And our response? Your group sounds like fun… of course, wear what you want!
Not something you do everyday!
We’ve had fun this afternoon filming our promo video with Andrew from F9 Films for our award shortlisting in the Bridgend Business Forum awards – tourism category 😊👍
