Kids’ bushcraft birthday parties are back!! πŸ”₯

Kids’ bushcraft birthday parties will be returning in August!

With the Welsh Gov announcement this morning that children under 11 will not have to social distance from Monday, we’ll be bringing back our popular bushcraft birthday parties!

Temporary event formats

**update: Welsh Government guidance has now changed allowing us to expand the types of events that we can run. For the latest info, please see this blog post. Thank you**

To fit with new Welsh Government guidelines,Β  we’ve adapted our event formats to run events for one household or extended household “bubble” at at time.

So this is a unique opportunity for you to book a private session with us with a dedicated instructor, until we can increase our event numbers and take group bookings again. We’re running events for couples, small families & extended household “bubbles” – so there’s something for everyone.

Temporary lowering of age limits – great news for the kids!

As all of our “household only” events will require adults to be present & our group numbers will be small, it means we’re able to temporarily lower the age limit for some of our activities.Β

We’re back… let the adventures begin!

All’s good in the woods and there’s plenty of space to have some family fun and laughter 😊

It was fantastic to welcome back some of our loyal customers today, we’ve missed you!

Come and join us in Bridgend and have a go at natural shelter building and see if it’ll keep your family dry and work together as a team to light a πŸ”₯ – no matches or lighters in sight! πŸ‘

Getting our safety protocols in place to re-open

Today I’ve had my head down working on the laptop, reading guidance on the Welsh Government, Health & Safety Executive, World Health Organisation and other websites to get our covid risk assessment and safety protocols finalised… All in preparation to safely reopen in July (more details on our phased reopening to follow soon!)

So this evening I’ve been relaxing with a wander in my local park and chill out by the pond.

What have you been up to today? Have you been enjoying the β˜€?

We miss you!

Beautiful days like today make it even harder that we can’t run adventures for you β˜€

Unfortunately we qualify for very little financial / government support and this glorious weather rubs salt in that wound a little.

At the same time, we are of course very grateful to have the time to enjoy the outdoors in the lovely sunshine and we hope you are too. And we completely agree and understand the need for us to remain closed at the moment.

But we are preparing behind the scenes and looking forward to re opening when it’s safe to do so, so that we can run outdoor activities for you.

We miss what we do & we miss you! Stay safe and we hope we can see you soon! Rachel 😁
