Good news! We’re reopening soon and we’re taking bookings for small, private group bushcraft events for kids and we’ll soon also be running our children’s bushcraft birthday parties for kids aged 7+. Hoorah – who’s up for an outdoor, fun-fuelled adventure?! 🤟
Thinking ahead to the weekend?
Here’s some info about the latest restrictions and our events…
☑️ You can meet other households outdoors (up to 30 people)
☑️ Keep your distance
☑️ Wash your hands (obvs)
☑️ We only run small group events (average group size is 6)
🌳 All activities take place outdoors in our beautiful woodland in Bridgend
🪓 Equipment is sanitised – we’re Good To Go
🔥 Our events are pretty awesome 🤙

Outdoor kids bushcraft birthday parties are back! 🔥
Fire lighting, shelter building, marshmallow toasting fresh-air-fuelled fun! All Adventurers leave with a certificate too 🙂
**update: Welsh Government guidance has now changed allowing us to expand the types of events that we can run. For the latest info, please see this blog post. Thank you**
To fit with new Welsh Government guidelines, we’ve adapted our event formats to run events for one household or extended household “bubble” at at time.
So this is a unique opportunity for you to book a private session with us with a dedicated instructor, until we can increase our event numbers and take group bookings again. We’re running events for couples, small families & extended household “bubbles” – so there’s something for everyone.
We’ll be re-opening week starting 6th July! 👍🙂
Beautiful days like today make it even harder that we can’t run adventures for you ☀
Unfortunately we qualify for very little financial / government support and this glorious weather rubs salt in that wound a little.
At the same time, we are of course very grateful to have the time to enjoy the outdoors in the lovely sunshine and we hope you are too. And we completely agree and understand the need for us to remain closed at the moment.
But we are preparing behind the scenes and looking forward to re opening when it’s safe to do so, so that we can run outdoor activities for you.
We miss what we do & we miss you! Stay safe and we hope we can see you soon! Rachel 😁
Dog walks, drawing, listening to the birds sing, reading, sowing seeds to grow vegetables, sitting in the garden, listening to music.
This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. These are just a few of the ways we’re being kind to ourselves and looking after our mental health.
What works for you?
Lockdown… some days are cloudier than others, but keep looking up and focus on that blue sky 👍
