Axe-citing news – launch of 2020 axe throwing events
We’re excited today to launch our 2020 axe throwing events on Eventbrite. And to introduce a new format for you as well.
You can now choose from:
- A 90 minute experience – great fun to come and have a go at this fun & popular sport
- An improver’s experience – three 90 minute events with a small group to help you to improve your throwing
These events are ideal if you’re looking to book places for a smaller group of friends or family. We also have lots of people who come along on their own. Everyone welcome – and we’re a friendly team! 🙂

Time out is time well spent
We took some time out today for a bit of Wednesday wellbeing. And of course, we spent it outdoors with a lovely beach walk.
We’re now refreshed and ready to go again, and looking forward to running a School Adventure tomorrow! 👍 😊

I’m not a natural runner and I certainly don’t enjoy running. But when I’m feeling stressed, I (reluctantly) grab my running shoes and head outdoors for a run. Because I may dislike running, but I do like that feeling I get afterwards.
Pupils celebrate surviving to the end of term!
Today I welcomed pupils from Tai Education Centre in RCT to our Bridgend Bushcraft Basecamp.
The pupils had focused on a survival topic this term in school. So to finish the topic and celebrate the end of term, pupils got to put in to practice the survival skills they’d learnt in the classroom.
